Set in a spectacular setting the airport is functional and has what can be expected of a small city catering to Turboprops and Bush Pilots.
Very friendly and pleasant people working at Ravn Air which is the main commuter connection to Anchorage and beyond.

I cannot fairly review this airport as the place was closed and we didn't go inside. It is obviously a beautiful place, but I was only there a matter of hours.

Came here with the military, the people were so nice and helpful and welcoming. Made me want to live here.

This is the main Valdez airport. Valdez U-Drive used to rent cars and trucks but due to the pandemic, they have closed for good along with their gift shop. Helicopter tours is still in the airport and Ravn Alaska is still flying to Anchorage once each day or most days. Ravn now charges $30 for the first bag and more for the 2nd. Must arrive before 45 minutes before your flight or risk not getting a boarding pass.

Unfriendly Staff, number listed on Google was answered by a manager who was rude and could not verify flight times (there are only 2 flights per day).
I would say "go somewhere else", but you have no choice other than to endure the unhappy, unmotivated people that work here.

Nice airport. Very small but with nice views.
