Our users love our new website! We worked with Blennd to refresh our brand, in time for our 2.0 product launch. ?

The people at Blennd are awesome to work with. Our platform serves two types of users and is somewhat complicated to explain. Blennd took the time to understand our primary users and created a design that balances usability with aesthetics.

Blennd also helped us turn our website into a sales tool and helped us focus our messaging on the benefits of our platform.

They paid attention to essential factors like good copy, conversion optimization (CRO) and SEO, which are often overlooked in a rebrand project. I would gladly work with Blennd again for other projects.

We engaged Blennd to build our website, but unfortunately, the final product fell short of our expectations and has led to ongoing issues. Despite investing significantly, we encountered several technical and structural problems that have impacted both usability and SEO performance.

Firstly, the site was launched with unnecessary slug changes that negatively affected our SEO. Key pages, including our homepage, experienced critical errors, making them inaccessible at times. The homepage, for instance, had PHP errors due to syntax issues, specifically array offset issues on string variables. These types of errors should not exist in a finished product from a professional agency.

The site contains several modules that function awkwardly, often lacking intuitiveness. For example, FAQs have appeared out of order, pages broke frequently, and in some cases, pages went missing entirely. We've also been charged for hours Blennd spent fixing their own mistakes, which was frustrating and felt unfair given the high cost of the project.

Performance was also a major letdown. We emphasized site speed and optimization as priorities, yet the site failed initial performance tests. Only after we made additional adjustments did the site perform to an acceptable level.

Other design choices have been confusing and disruptive to our workflow. FAQs are hosted on uneditable, unattractive pages, blogs remain hidden until tagged, and sections inexplicably labeled as "xxx Archive" appear on live pages, creating a disjointed experience. We had expected these elements to be handled professionally without the need for so much handholding.

While we could have been more hands-on, we had hoped that, with the cost and promises made, we’d be able to take a more hands-off approach. Blennd's service and attention to detail were not up to par with the investment we made

It's difficult to describe how valuable simplicity is unless you understand how frighteningly complex your website truly is. Blennd redesigned and built a massive website for us with the right tools and framework to make updating it super simple. To be honest, I didn't understand HOW simple it would be until I had to make my first massive change. What previously would have taken a few hours took me <15 minutes. As the Marketing Manager for our corporate office, I was tasked with selecting a local Colorado company to redesign all 7 websites for our various companies and brands. This has been a huge project, but Blennd has been an amazing partner the whole way through. We've thrown them more than a few curve balls with complicated integrations for specific industry software, and they've worked through all of it. The entire team is great - they're knowledgeable, flexible, and more patient than they needed to be. I can't imagine having taken on this project with anyone else. So far, we have launched 6 of the 7 websites within a 9 month period. We're so thrilled to have custom, responsive websites with sleek website design, a highly improved user experience, SEO optimization, and convenient maintenance packages that are reasonably priced (we've been overcharged before). The development team took the time to walk me through the WordPress dashboard so that I can make minor content changes on my own. For design changes and integration updates, there are some development hours included in our maintenance package so that I don't break the beautiful websites. I would highly recommend Blennd for web design and development projects of any size, whether you need just 1 website, or maybe 7.
